Muir Sol reflects the moment fog recedes from Muir Woods and light enters the redwood canopy. Mandarin gives the fragrance its warmth, while wild fennel, myrtle, and sage trace the forest floor. Virginia cedarwood, oakmoss, and copaiba balsam form a resinous base that lingers close to the skin.

Muir Woods, Marin County
Nestled just north of San Francisco, Muir Woods National Monument preserves one of the last remaining old-growth coastal redwood forests in the world. These ancient trees — Sequoia sempervirens — can soar over 250 feet and live for more than a millennium, sustained by the cool, fog-laden air drifting in from the Pacific.
The redwoods thrive through a delicate balance of moisture and shade, their needles capturing fog to nourish the roots below. Streams wind through deep ravines, feeding an understory rich with aromatic vegetation — ferns, bay laurel, moss — where filtered light creates a world suspended in time.

Raised in San Francisco, Ashley draws from a lifelong connection to Northern California. Trained at ISIPCA in Paris and Givaudan's Perfumery School, she composes fragrances that translate place into scent with clarity and intention.
